Satisfied Clients

Happy, Beautiful Faces

I decided to get permanent eyeliner after I had surgery on my dominant hand and couldn’t put on make up very well. Richard and Matt were wonderful to work with. Matt was able to push up my appointment given my situation. Richard’s work was amazing. He was very professional and took the time to discuss and show pictures of different levels of eyeliner (from light to heavy) and talk about what I wanted. Now it is so easy to get ready for the day. It’s nice to have your make up still perfect at the end of the day after a long work shift. I highly recommend Richard Victor Permanent Cosmetics!

Due to a Thyroid condition my eye brows were uneven and missing the edges. I had them done in September. Richard was patient & thorough in his planning. Absolutely loved the results. Went back yesterday, 5/21/18 for the included touch-up. Just as friendly and patient as the initial visit. Grateful not to have to apply brows everyday, love the results. Richard is a true perfectionist!
Before the initial Matt was friendly and knowledgeable when explaining the procedure and after care. He followed up the next day to make sure I was ok, and had any further questions.

FAQ

You’ve Got Questions - We’ve Got Answers

What is Permanent Makeup?

Permanent Makeup is a cosmetic technique which employs tattoos (semi-permanent pigmentation of the dermis) as a means of producing designs that resemble makeup.

What is Microblading?

Microblading, a semi-permanent procedure, is the art of embedding pigment beneath the skin with a specialized and sterile tool to create the illusion of strategically placed hair strokes for fuller and enhanced brows.

How long does Eyeliner and Powder Brows take?

We book each client for 2 hours. This includes consultation, numbing, perfecting and ensuring your comfort.

Does Microblading hurt?

Discomfort is minimal and numbing creams are used to ensure a painless procedure. Most would compare the degree of discomfort to the feeling felt when threading their brows.

How long does Microblading take?

There are several stages which include; numbing, outlining the desired shape, the actual process of Microblading, and the fine tuning of the finished process. This usually takes roughly 2.5 hours.

Are there any reasons why I should not receive the procedures?

You must be 18+ to receive a service. As a safety precaution, we refrain from working on individuals who are pregnant or nursing. If you have previously microbladed eyebrows by another artist or are a male client, we do require a visual consultation via email before you are eligible to book an appointment. This is to ensure expectations and achievable results coincide with one another. If you are diabetic, you must insure your diabetes is well controlled. High blood sugar levels can complicate the healing process. We also refrain from working on individuals who are going through chemotherapy because they are at higher risks of bleeding and infection.

How long does permanent cosmetics last?

Approximately 18-24 months with proper aftercare and follow up appointment(s). Skin type and lifestyle can effect the longevity of your cosmetic tattoo - we can not guarantee specific results.

Do different skin types react differently to Microblading?

In short, yes. However, healed results are unique to each client. In our experience, dry skin typically heals to a finer(crisp) finish, while oily skin typically leads to a thicker(soft) healed stroke. Results vary and can be attributed to a number of factors including; skin type, after-care, and environmental exposure.

Which payment methods does Richard Victor Permanent Cosmetics accept?

We accept cash, credit card and Venmo.

How do I know if Microblading versus Powder Brows is right for me?

It is best for us to see your eyebrows with photos or an in person free consultation. Microblading is a more natural looking approach, that looks best with an existing eyebrow. Powder Brows are more of a "makeup" look.

What is required before making an appointment?

For Microblading and Corrective work, we require a consultation or clear photos. We require a $75 deposit to hold your appointment that will be applied to your service and is non-refundable. Failure to cancel your appointment prior to 48 hours notice will forfeit your deposit. An additional deposit will be required to make a new appointment.

Do you need to shave or remove any hair from my eyebrows before the service?

No, we cherish every hair. We want to work with as much hair as possible and will remove any that do not compliment the final shape. We actually prefer you to let them grow in as much as possible before your visit.

How is Richard Victor Permanent Cosmetics different from other makeup artists?

With Richard, you are getting not just a technician but a true artist. With hands-on experience of over 15 years, Richard has seen it all. He is patient, gentle, communicative and will work together with his clients to receive the best outcome.
